This is the third of the Edge Chronicles, written by Stewart, illustrated by Riddell. It continues straight from the end of the second, and follows firstly Twig's quest to find his father, then the knowledge that he gains, then a collection quest as he tries to reunite his crew who've been scattered all over the map (not successfully, by the way - Stewart isn't afraid to kill off the good side), and finally a race against time to save everything from destruction.
A nice touch is that the PoV has slid somewhat and is now more with Cowlquape, a new character.
The trilogy goes out with a bang, not a whimper.
