Forty people had to be evacuated from a block of flats in St Michael's Street, Dumfries, after its roof was blown off.

Whoops, that looks to be a few doors up from the Linen Room restaurant.

Mind you, Dumfries is probably used to strong weather. I've seen the River Nidd attempting to remove the roadway from the main bridge in the centre of town.
