2.8 kg is really not much of a cat. Which is why we're getting blood tests done for Talia - she's getting really quite light, and though in every other way she's pretty healthy for a 14 year old, she eats and drinks well, and she's still athletic, that lack of any reserve is a little worrying.

Thanks.

She does seem pretty healthy in all other regards, but verging on the anorexic as far as weight is concerned.

We've just had Pebble's teeth done, and she's eating like a horse.

Toothache?

Don't think so - she's eating and drinking without apparent problems. Blood and urine tests yesterday showed no problem with thyroid or kidneys, the blood test that she will have this afternoon will test for infections - her heart rate was a bit on the high side (even allowing for the stress of being at the vet) and that could be caused by an infection of some sort.

If it's any help, Mooncat hovers around the 3kg mark, but is always full of bounce. Some girl cats are small-boned!
