We went to see this last night.

I'm amazed at just how quickly two hours can fly. Quick verdict - pure unadulterated entertainment with minimal social comment, very slick and smooth. Whatever plot holes and inconsistencies there may be are lost in the action.

Quite why both Larry 'Oracle' Ellison and Elon 'PayPal' Musk appear is anyone's guess.

Edit: According to Jon Favreau, director of the Iron Man movies, Musk is the inspiration for his and Robert Downey Jr's interpretation of Tony Stark

A Chinese meal of a movie - very satisfying at the time but not lasting long in the memory.

Perhaps now is the time to lead an increasingly bemused Stan Lee from the set of any future Marvel movie.

We normally go for a Chinese meal before the movie.

At the place we go to, the meals are satisfying and we don't end up wanting another meal an hour later. I wonder what the cause of the traditional short satisfaction meal is - perhaps it's lots of quickly-absorbed sugars and starches in the glutinous sauces.

Nothing to do with the *huge* portions, then :-)

Well, yes, but that's why we don't order more than one dish each.

With your traditional Chinese, you could stuff yourself on lots of dishes, but end up feeling peckish again an hour or two later, which isn't a problem with Michael's cooking.
