I've been collecting exalted reputations. Some take a while, because you can only build reputation by doing daily quests (such as the Frostborn, who have a single 250 rep daily).
Others don't have daily quests, or repeatable ones, but permit you to gain by slaying their enemies.
One of these is the Gelkis Clan Centaur. Kill a Magram Centaur, and you get 20 rep with their mortal enemies the Gelkis. Calculating this out, you only need to dispatch about 2000 centaurs to get from low friendly all the way to exalted. And last night, I was about half way through that, about to reach Revered, when ... what? WHAT?!
There's a rep cap. You can't get above 11999/12000 in honoured by kills.
