We are blessed in Royston with a good set of restaurants for such a small market town.

Last night, we took a couple of friends of ours to the Ashiana Spice, which (at about three years old) is the newest Indian restaurant in town, and they were mightily impressed with both the quality of the food and the standard of service. The food shows how spicing can, and should, be done - it's not overpowering, but is perfectly balanced and well complements the fresh ingredients. Such a contrast to the traditional curry house, which can overdo it even on the mild dishes.
