Ozy and Millie is a classic webcomic. It's has been being published for some years now, from quite early on in Simpson's cartooning career, and it's one of the more widely read ones - I see a number of O&M derived LJ icons around.
Ozymandias P Llewellyn and Millicent Mehitabel Mudd are a pair of 8 year old school kids. They happen to be anthropomorphic foxes, in a world of anthropomorphic animals. They attend school together, with other kids of various species including the jock bully rabbit Jeremy (yes, a rabbit bullies foxes), Felicia the fashion fallowing sheep, and so on. It's much like Peanuts (whose Charles Schultz Simpson much admires), but with animals throughout, and the species of the animal is often relevant to the characterisation.
Unlike Peanuts, Ozy and Millie are frequently the oddball kids getting snubbed or bullied by their peers, or (in Millie's case) being told off by teachers.
This book collects the strips together, and adds valuable commentary by the author/artist.
The delightful start of Ozy and Millie.
