Today's History Quiz on the BBC News web site has one question I'm not allowed to get wrong.

I hadn't realised that the Pope had us invading Ireland before we got to Wales. And I guessed wrong on the anti-slavery campaigner: I guessed the nurse instead.

But I've had quizzes before where my forbear's demeanour has been mentioned. Hey, guys, enough already. And anyway, old Perceval had it coming.

(I actually once went out with a lass whose surname was Perceval. Doomed.)

One of which was posed by Clanwilliam in the Hinckley at one point, IIRC.

Indeed so. Though I was actually elsewhere at the time.
