Today's candidate for the Darwin Award is the 'healing therapist' who decided that dabbing a wound in his foot with Manuka honey was the correct treatment. He died of gangrene.

(Although given that he was 52, he had probably completed any paddling in the gene pool anyway.)

I think we should all be grateful that if he did have to kill someone with his idiocy, it was himself rather than some poor misled client.
