What's New With Phil & Dixie Collection #2 was reviewed back here.

This is volume three, and it's several years later: Foglio is no longer working for TSR's Dragon magazine, he's now working for Duellist, the publication of Wizards of the Coast, the inventors of Magic The Gathering (a, or perhaps the) trading card game. I know nothing about MtG, and as a result the subjects referred to herein are somewhat more opaque. Still, that barely matters: I do enjoy the artwork, and Foglio's style is always delightful. There's also insight into the growth of a tiny company into something that in the end swallowed down TSR.

(There's also a rueful commentary at one point about a cartoon that notes the enormous cost of a gigabyte hard disk. Oh, how the world keeps changing.)

Cartoons about Gathering the Magic.
